Sweet Melissa Biscornu pattern
Sweet Melissa Biscornu pattern
In the designer's words:
"As I was wandering through my herb garden one day, I remembered one of those bits of trivia that my brain stores in long term memory for no apparent reason (except perhaps to one day turn it into a cross stitch design?): Lemon Balm is also called “Sweet Melissa” and “Melissa” is the Greek word for Honeybee. Here I present you with the result of that little moment of clarity in the herb garden: the Sweet Melissa Biscornu, with Honeybees happily gathering nectar from the little bell-like blossoms of a Lemon Balm plant. "
