At The Stitcher's Muse, we're all about YOU.
We love to help creative souls - or anyone with an interest in stitching - get the supplies they need to satisfy their inner stitcher.
From needles to floor stands, cotton to silk, Aida to linen, ornaments to BAPs (Big Ambitious Projects), glass to semi-precious beads and crystals, cross stitch to tatting and bobbin lace, we have what YOU are looking for - and if we don't have it, we'll do everything we can to get it.
Need other help? We're pretty good at almost all needlework types. We'd love to help you get to the next level in your stitching, learn a new technique, finesse your current project or technique, and advise on colours and supplies to make your stitching enjoyable and rewarding.
We're open 10am to 5pm Monday through Saturday. For holiday and other special hours, please check our Google listing.
An important note about quantities:Between several location changes, a brief and messy affair with a different Point of Sale program, and Covid, our inventory is about as accurate as guessing the number of jelly beans in a large jar. Just because it says "please enquire" (indicating there are none in stock), it doesn't mean we DON'T have it, and if it says we have some, we may not.
Please feel free to contact us to confirm product quanties.
A Year in the Woods collection

We are working on supplying the kits - please contact us for options.
The staff at Stitcher's Muse are friendly, knowledgeable and go out of their way to be helpful! Maybe it's a question about a product, or the best way to stitch something, or sharing new products, they are always ready to help your project be top notch!
The Stitcher's Muse - great Needlework Shop. The staff are very helpful and do hesitate to give you ideas for whatever project. When entering their store you are a part of their sewing family, not just a customer.i have recommended them to a number of people in the past.
Even though I’m in Winnipeg I consider you one of my LNSs (local needlework shop). I love the friendly, efficient service and the giggles and chat when I phone. Keep up the good work (but I don’t need to tell you that – you just do it naturally!).
Although I don’t live nearby I always know I can have a delightful phone conversation with Dion or place my order by email and enjoy great service. We are so fortunate to have such a well stocked store available especially during these trying times. I do hope you all know how much you are appreciated!!
Although I live far away in Ontario, I am most impressed with the online product offerings and any items I have ordered. Response to any questions I have are answered quickly and thoroughly. I look forward to visiting your new location when it is safe to travel once again.
Five star rating!
I Love the Stitcher's Muse! When I used to live in Langley and we were going over to visit family it was a given that our first stop off the ferry would be to the Stitcher's Muse. Now that I live in Chemainus it's easier to get to the shop. Dione is so kind, friendly and knowledgeable about cross stitch. The shop is set up beautifully, everything is easy to see and the staff are always available to answer questions. If the item that I want isn't available they will order it in for me. If for some reason I can't make it to the shop, I order over the phone or email. The mailing cost is reasonable and I receive my order within a week.
Always a joy to visit this shop and find Dione ready with a smile to help you discover what you need. A true pleasure. Thank you Dione! -A happy customer
I always look forward to visiting the Stitchers Muse as it feels like home. The staff are friendly and knowledgable making my shopping experience most enjoyable. You never know what treasures you will find to add to your stitching enjoyment and they carry supplies for the novice through to the expert stitcher.
