Harmony is a 100% Spun Silk 6 strand floss equivalent in size and twist to cotton embroidery floss.

Each of the individual 6 strands is a 2-ply thread for pleasurable stitching. There’s no comparing when using silk thread for stitching – its smoothness and luscious solour are a joy to work with.

Harmony silk thread can easily be divided or “stranded” The silk is from the Bombay mori silk worm, often referred to as "mulberry" silk.

Judith Baker Montano (award-winning and world-renowned fiber artist, photographer, author, and teacher) and Treenway Silks collaborated in 2006 to create these stunning colorways. Hand-painted by Treenway Silks and color fast. Treenway Silks use acid dyes with heat and then rinse until water runs clear. Wash in tepid or slightly warm water.
