Bluebells Punto Antico pattern

A fun and interesting Punto Antico design that includes both a mat (or frame-able design) and ornament! The mat can be used square or on-point (diamond).

The mat features a symmetrical design radiating from the centre with a pretty openwork border and is finished with a classic hemstitch.

The ornament features three different filling designs in the centre with a pretty floral-inspried motif on either side.

The openwork filling stitches shown in the ornament could easily be transferred to the mat to suit your tastes!
