Blending filaments consist of a nylon core wrapped with a polyester metallic-like filament. They add sparkle and interest to all kinds of needlework projects. It is frequently carried along with cotton floss but may be stitched on its own as well, either several strands for greater coverage, or on top of cotton floss for greatest effect.
