Custom Fabric Cuts

Here at The Stitcher's Muse, we love to make our customers happy.

One way we do that is by custom cutting fabric for cross stitch and embroidery projects. No need to buy a Fat Quarter or a full yard of fabric when you only need it for a specific product.

How to order a Custom Cut:

  1. Calculate the size of the fabric you need. For cross stitch projects, there's a handy calculator here: Cross Stitch Calculator. Simply enter the number of stitches side-to-side and up-and-down in the boxes, the number of threads you're stitching over (1 or 2), add your preferred extra fabric (we recommend at least 3 inches all around), and press "Calculate Size".
  2. Multiply the width you need by the length you need. This will give you the number of square inches you want. Enter this number into the Quantity after selecting Custom Cut. For example, for a piece 20" x 20", you would enter 400.
  3. At the Checkout page, please enter the dimensions of the piece you want. If you have more than one fabric please enter the dimensions for each piece on a separate line specifying which measurement is for which fabric.

Please feel free to contact us via email or telephone if you have any questions.
