The Stitcher's Muse Needlart is a needlework supply shop located in Nanaimo, BC, Canada.  We carry a broad range of patterns, fibres, fabrics, and embellishments for many different kinds of needlework and lace making, including cross stitch, needlepoint, samplers, crewel embroidery, petit point, tatting, bobbin lace, needlelace, Battenberg lace, and more!

We love to do special orders and enjoy tracking items down.  We've even been known to bid on Ebay items on a customer's behalf.

 Announcement!

We have bought the remaining stock and distributorship of Edmar Embroidery Threads from P & G Enterprises!  We have received the stock and are busy counting it all,  which will take a while.  As soon as it is counted, I will be placing an order to "top up" missing threads.  We do have almost the full line of Edmar threads, plus a good stock of Londonderry linen threads (for lace making), Trebizond, Soie d'Alger, Soie Chenille, and LOTS of Brazilian Embroidery patterns.  If you don't see an item on the website, please email or telephone us and we'll tell you if we have it.

August 2012: At long last, I have finished the chart and instructions for my Vines & Leaves shawl.  Knitted out of lace weight silk and mohair in alternating bands of lace with a beautiful leaf edging enhanced and weighted with beads.  I will have this up on the website soon for purchase, in the meantime please email or telephone with enquiries.

May 2012:    Phew!  We've had a LOT of stock come in over the last month!  Please be patient with us while we upload it all - it may take a long time since each product takes 3-8 minutes to configure properly, and there hundreds!  I only have an hour a day to work on the site...
