Bright, primitive-style robin perched on a holly branch amid falling snow.
In Thea's words:
“A winter melody ..."
Cathy's done it again! A companion to her first three birds, this sweet Winter Robin sits on a holly branch as the first snow falls. Robins are welcome and cheery visitors to the trees and hedges surround Cathy's house in winter. Stitched with some gorgeous overdyed cottons in wonderfully warm colours, this design will fly right into your heart. Frame the finished design with old barn wood as Cathy's husband has done, or fashion it into a pillow for your couch or bed. Victoria Sampler provides a ‘Winter Robin ’ Accessory Pack which contains all the overdyed threads and metallic braid you need for this design.

Bonus ideas: change colours for other occasions!! For instance, use white fabric llike I did originally for my faux green box from sudberry. Or use soft pink pearls and silk ribbon to create a lovely Valentine pillow. Change beads and ribbon to purple and gold and add a gold cross charm in the middle to make a lovely Easter hanging. Change the beads and silk ribbon to fall colours and you can stitch a bountiful Harvest Wreath box top cover! Create a wreath to last this year!
