As with the other pieces in this series, it focuses on a motif and how many different ways the motif can be stitched. If you are new to this series, pineapples are a symbol of welcome so we welcome you to this great series. It fits into the same box used through out the series, the JD061 box from Olde Colonial Designs. Substitutes from P & G Enterprises are available for the box.
What a great idea! Simply finish the edges of your tablecloth, then randomly add motifs here and there. Better yet, lay out threads and have your friends over – each can stitch a square or two. Wouldn't that be great for a wedding present?
This traditional band sampler is a tribute to a lovely Canadian publication. As you can see in published works, this piece was originally designed for the magazine – ‘A Needle Pulling Thread’.
