Gloriosa Lily embroidery pattern
This lily appears to have flaming petals! Three petals are on the fabric and three petals are stump-work. Attached to the bottom of the flower are six stamens constructed from floss, wire, and beads. You get to stitch a closed bud with a padded spider-web and another bud that has opened at the bottom and will eventually curl its leaves upward in full bloom. This lily has leaves with tendrils at the tips seeking to climb upwards.
Stitches included are: bullion, buttonhole, couching, hopper, outline, satin, short and long, stem, triple stem, straight.
Design printed on fabric, assorted beads, wire, color picture, and complete instructions.
Designed for Brazilian embroidery and Edmar rayon threads, but could easily be stitched with your choice of fibres and techniques.
