Dione at The Stitcher's MuseHi and Welcome!!

We're the Little Needlework Shop That Did.

Our mission is to get YOU what you need to make your stitching soul sing (or your needles busy).

We work with over 100 suppliers to get you just what you need to start, *continue with*, and (eventually) finish your needlework projects.

Our bricks-and-mortar storefront is located at 99 Commercial Street in beautiful, fun, funky downtown Nanaimo, British Columbia.  Come in and browse for your best experience, but if you can't come in, we'll do our best to make your needlework dreams come true!  Browse the website - if you can't find what you want, shoot us an email, message us on Facebook, phone us, write us, or send in your best friend or relative to ask about how we can help YOU.

We've been in business for over 10 years, and grown from a little nook of 450 square feet to over 2,000 square feet, including an inspirational classroom complete with coffee and tea for your browsing and learning comfort.  Conveniently placed chairs allow your companion to read a book or text their friends while you're checking things out, or for you to sit and have a thorough inspection of our books, patterns, fibres, or notions.

We have a "Donations" area where we accept items other stitchers or their relatives are no longer interested in.  We make sure the items are useable and then put them out on display.  If you want something from there, you pay whatever you are able and willing to pay, and half the proceeds are donated to our local Women's Shelter.  Can't make it in?  Let us know what you want and we'll have a quick look to see if it's there.  A great place to look for discontinued charts, or the last two feet of a thread you need, or a kit for travel, or a hoop or scroll frame that you'll only need for one project.

So come on in, sit a spell, relax and browse, or rush in to grab that one colour of floss that's absolutely essential to get to stage next of your project.  Chat with us, browse our website, explore a new technique, fabric, or fibre - we're here to make your stitching as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.

We can be contacted in-store, by telephone, email, Facebook Messenger, or via the afore-mentioned friend or relative.  Above all,

Enjoy your stitching!
