Metallic threads in a variety of colours, sizes, and twists for needlepoint, canvaswork, embroidery, lace making, cross stitch, and other types of needlework. May also be used as bobbin threads or couched for machine embroidery

  • Blending Filament

    Very fine metallic threads intended for use as a carry-along with floss. Thinner than a single strand of floss.  For best effect and ease of use we recommend stitching it over top AFTER floss has been stitched instead of at the same time.  Application of Thread Heaven can also make this thread easier to manage.

  • Size 4 Metallic Braid

    Metallic braid used for cross stitch, embroidery, needlepoint, and other hand-embroidery techniques.  Also used for machine embroidery, scrapbooking and card making.  Roughly equivalent to 2 strands of embroidery floss.

  • Size 8 Metallic Braid

    Fine metallic braid used for cross stitch, needlepoint, embroidery, and other hand-stitching.  May also be used in machine embroidery (bobbin work), cardmaking, scrapbooking and more.  Roughly equivalent to 4 strands of embroidery floss, twice the thickness of #4 braid, and size 10 crochet thread.

  • Size 12 Metallic Braid

    Metallic thread used for embroidery and needlepoint.  Suitable for couching.  Three times the thickness of #4 braid.  Also known as Tapestry Braid.

  • Size 16 Metallic Braid

    Medium-weight metallic embroidery braid, also knows as #16 Braid.  Twice the thickness of #8 Braid, four times the thickness of #4 Braid.  Suitable for heavier stitching on canvas or lower-count cross stitch fabrics, or for couching on surface embroidery.

  • 1/16th inch or 1.6mm...

    Metallic ribbon, 1/16" wide or 1.6mm wide.  Beautiful for couching or needlepoint.
